WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING A SESSION?

I absolutely love a great location with some beautiful natural light! Together we choose a great location that is unique to you as a couple, family, or business. Sessions are generally held outdoors or in a light-filled studio, with the exception of newborn photography, and take place within the hours near sunrise or sunset. I will help with placement on sitting, standing, or walking, but you won’t find me over-directing you. Natural and playful movement come across so great in photos. Walking, hugging, throwing kiddos in the air - whatever is going to get you and your family members to relax and enjoy yourselves.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR FOR OUR SESSION, CAN YOU HELP?

Once you book a session, I can certainly send some tips on how to coordinate outfits. Ladies - you should pick your outfit first! While this tends to be a given for couples, moms often forget themselves and dress their children first. This is your time to find your favorite outfit and dress the rest of the family once you find your outfit. You should all feel beautiful and relaxed for your session - don't let your outfits cause stress for your photos! I'd love to take some of that pressure off my helping you coordinate your outfits and feel confident in your decision. An easy place to start - don’t try to match, we want coordination. Nautrals mixed with texture and pattern come across great in photos and I recommend lighter tones if you are looking for lighter/brighter photos.

DO YOUR SESSIONS INCLUDE DIGITAL FILES?

Yes! An online gallery of high resolution images is included with all sessions and packages! USBs loaded with your images are available a la carte.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED & ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR TRAVEL?

I absolutely love traveling! I live in a suburb of Minneapolis and am available to travel within the worldwide! Hawaii, Charlotte, and California are bucket list photography destinations! I’d love to chat about travel for your session! Being outdoors is inspiring, whether on cobblestone streets of Minneapolis, under the Spanish moss trees of the south, or on the beach Hawaii!
